The Saints varsity volleyball knocked off first seeded Young Americans Christian School last night to bring home a region championship! This is the team’s 2nd championship in four seasons and places them in the driver’s seat entering the GICAA DI-AA state tournament.

Entering the one day tournament as the two seed receiving a first round bye. In the semi-final match-up, the Saints took down the Cougars of Cornerstone Prep 2-1 for the third time this season securing a much anticipated rematch with YACS who they split with in the regular season. The championship match saw both teams trading points and games leading to a tie-break third game. The Saints pushed forward and secured the deciding game giving them the championship.

The Saints will host the first round of the state playoffs this Tuesday. Entering the state tournament with a 1 seed will place the Saints in great position to make a run at a state title. Come out and support your Saints as they host Skipstone Academy this Tuesday!
