The Saints stole the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over Community christian school on Monday. The game was tied at five with Saints batting in the top of the ninth when Nathan Jenkins doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Zach Heacock led the Saints to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He surrendered four runs on five hits over four and a third innings, striking out four. James Bailey threw four and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The team racked up seven hits on the day. Ryan Plunk collected multiple hits for  the Saints, leading the team with three hits in four at bats.

The next game for Saints Baseball is Senior Night. Come out and support your seniors! They play at Lake Point starting at 5:00pm against Young American Christian School. If the Saints win tomorrow they will be undefeated in the region going into the State Playoffs!
